In earlier days with the demand for television shows decreasing and an increasing demand in full-length films it became harder for animators to find work. With the invention of the computer came a revolution in animation. The first graphics, images or drawings were produced in the mid 1960s. This mad it easier for artiest to create animations at this time. A man by the name of Ivan Sutherland created a program that made it easier for anyone with a computer to make graphics images in there very own home. This program was called Sketchpad, which was sort of MS paint. With this creation of the Sketchpad came many more innovations in graphics and digital imaging programs. Without the creation of this program we might not have programs such Photoshop, Maya, and other 3D animation Programs.
