Head In the Clouds is an animation my computer animation IV class and I created last spring based on my story “I Want to Fly”. While flying his toy airplane in his backyard he imagines he is an actual a pilot flying his toy plane. After a while he gets bored of playing with they toy plane and lays out in the grass looking at the sky. When he looks up he sees an airplane flying overhead the boScreen Shot 2015-05-11 at 12.54.34 AMy gets the idea to build his own plane out of whatever he can find laying around to turn his dreams to reality.

The project was broken down into different sections which were divided up among us. The tasks I was given include storyboarding, sound/music, texturing, lighting and animating scenes in the animation. Working in small groups we work like a small animation production company to complete our tasks by the due dates. For the most part we kept up with the due dates until we started animating. 3D animating isn’t my strong point but working together helped get the work done as soon as we could and i’m very proud of or work.

This animation is all about chasing your dreams no mater how realistic or unrealistic they might be.
